Locate Robertson County Clerk Records

Robertson County County Clerk records cover local public records that are separate from court case files. A county clerk records search may involve marriage licenses, certified marriage copies, land records, deeds, mortgages, liens, recorded wills, eCCLIX access, delinquent tax record workflows, county open-records forms, and election or motor vehicle office links. Court cases, divorce decrees, criminal files, traffic cases, and District Court probate files belong with the Circuit Court Clerk instead.

County Clerk Records Versus Court Clerk Records

Robertson County has a useful but important office split. The Circuit Court Clerk manages state court case files for Circuit, Family, District, and Business Court matters. The County Clerk manages county records such as land documents, marriage licenses, recorded instruments, delinquent tax workflows, and local county forms.

eCCLIX Online Records

The Robertson County Clerk uses eCCLIX online records, the Internet version of CCLIX, County Clerk Indexing. The county clerk explains that participating Kentucky county clerk offices use eCCLIX for public records archived in county clerk offices. It is especially relevant to attorneys, title search personnel, surveyors, realtors, commercial researchers, and local residents checking county documents.

County Clerk Forms and Open Records

The County Clerk's records and forms page lists an Open Records Application and Open Records Policy. The research did not expose a direct PDF field inventory, so the page should not be treated as proof of exact form boxes. The same forms area also lists Affidavit, Affidavit of Conversion to Real Estate, Certificate of Assumed Name, Renewal Certificate of Assumed Name, Release of Real Estate Mortgage, and Vendor's Lien Release.

For county-level contact requests, the Robertson County government contact form inventory included company, first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, phone, email, subject, and comments fields. That county web form is not the same as the County Clerk's Open Records Application, but it shows the level of identifying and contact information a requester should expect to provide when asking a county office to respond.

Delinquent Taxes, Elections, and Motor Links

The County Clerk website includes sections for Delinquent Taxes, Elections, Land Records, Online Records, Motor, Motor Renewals, Absentee Ballot Information, Additional Information, and contact. Use the County Clerk for delinquent tax certificate and county-record workflows documented on the clerk site, and use the Sheriff or PVA only when the question belongs to property tax collection or assessment rather than clerk recording.
